Clothbound with a dust jacket, 8 1/2 x 12″, 207 pages, all text is in both French and English. This is a beautiful and quite informative book about Japanese armor. It begins with a history of the subject, follows with large, sharp color photos of exceptional examples: kabuto, mempo, and suits of armor, and closes with a discussion of the different schools and when they were active, a historical chronology, a bibliography, and a glossary of armor terms. If you care about Katchu, you won’t be disappointed.
