T131.   Iron sukashi with both thick and fine line carving and sukashi of 3 ritual comma (Tomoe).  7.2 x 7.6 x .3 cm.  Comes with a box on which a former owner has written in pen, “Mitsutomoe Heianjo”.  This is a truly wonderful tsuba: the surface is soft and velvety and there are great tekkotsu on the rim.  Definitely Momoyama period.  1st class.  $475.
