Q848. Iron tsuba with gold nunome zogan. 7 x 7.5 x .5 cm. The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.4 cm. A bit strange, this one. The plate is wangata (dished), the nunome zogan looks like Jakushi work but that would be signed and not dished, and the rim is partially polished and looks like a shakudo fukurin but it is just the iron plate. I’ll let you puzzle this one out.  A dragon winds his way around the front and cloud forms dot the back. The one hitsu is plugged, in lead I believe. $275.
