K164.  Shakudo with fine nanako finish fuchi kashira.  The inside dimensions of the fuchi are 1.8 x 3.3 cm.  The nakago hitsu-ana is .8 x 2.5 cm.  Inside the kashira is 1.4 x 2.8 cm.  The gold flowers look like cherry blossoms but I wouldn’t expect them on long stems; is there a botanist in the house?  The quality of the shakudo is quite good; the color is a deeper black than shows in my feeble pictures.  Condition is excellent; I can’t find a scratch or ding anywhere.  $295.
